Robycam Germany will be renamed Birds Camera Solutions

Coinciding with the name change, it expands its range of solutions with the new Birds Cam System, suitable for smaller venues or studios due to its compact winches.

Robycam Germany, with headquarters in Bingen am Rhein (Germany), will now be called Birds Camera Solutions. The company will continue its business activities unchanged and will continue to offer a range of cable-suspended camera systems as rental for productions.

Additionally, the range of systems has been expanded to include smaller systems. A new addition to the systems portfolio is the Birds Cam System, which is especially suitable for smaller premises or studios due to their compact winches and the dimensions of the camera heads.

The company currently offers a wide range of systems using the Birds Cam, Robycam Compact and Robycam 3D, which can be used in a wide variety of locations and productions.

For customers, everything remains unchanged. Both the team with two general managers Stefan Breder and Philip from Senden, such as contact details, will remain the same.

Stefan Breder commented that "with the addition of the smaller aerial camera system, we have changed the company name to Birds Camera Solutions. The name change underpins our growing range of cable camera systems. No matter what production on what location, our customers can rely on our services to always provide the right solution to shoot exceptional images."

The company Birds Camera Solutions has already appeared at several business events. The SPOBIS sports congress that took place in Düsseldorf from January 29 to 30 was the first opportunity to experience the company and the new systems. Another future highlight will be the Sportsinnovation show (March 25-26, 2020), where Birds Camera Solutions will showcase two systems in action. On the pitch of the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf, a large Robycam 3D system will capture the action on the pitch. The smaller Birds Cam system will be live on the main grandstand stage.

In the first weeks of 2020, Birds Camera Solutions systems were intensively used at several major national and international events, such as the Ruhpolding Biathlon World Cup, the matches of the German first football league, the DFB Cup, the match in Africa with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal (world record with more than 52,000 spectators in the stadium watching a tennis match), as well as the Cologne Carnival.
