Panasonic withdraws from participating in IBC 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic
As an alternative to its absence at the sector event in Amsterdam, Panasonic will provide greater support to partners and customers with online initiatives to address new ways of working.
Panasonic has withdrawn from IBC 2020 which, in principle, is scheduled to be held from September 11 to 15 at the RAI Center in Amsterdam.
Alternatively, Panasonic will focus on support your partners and customers through various online initiatives, with the launch of its own Technology Experience Zone to help share experience and information for the industry.
André Meterian, director of the Professional Video Systems Business Unit for EMEA, acknowledges that "it has been a very difficult decision. As much as we look forward to welcoming visitors each year at this important industry event, we must prioritize the well-being of our staff, partners and attendees."
