Cine Yelmo reopens its theaters on June 26 with the great classic 'Cinema Paradiso'
Through +Que Cine, its alternative content window, Yelmo restarts its screenings after the pandemic in 23 theaters in 15 locations.
The next June 26, Helmet Cinema will once again light up the big screen with the re-release of the moving and nostalgic Cinema Paradiso (1988) thanks to +What Cinema, your alternative content window. Giuseppe Tornatore's European classic is a declaration of love for cinema. In addition to having conquered the viewer for decades, it also conquered critics at the time: Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Festival and Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.
Cinema Paradiso It is made up of moments that have been recorded in the collective imagination, such as the lion's head of the emblematic cinema through whose mouth appears the beam of light that is transformed into images. Thanks to them Totó, with his curious child's eyes, discovers the magic of cinema. Along with the emblematic soundtrack of Ennio Morricone The viewer travels in the company of this unforgettable protagonist on a nostalgic journey full of frames and emotions.
The masterpiece Cinema Paradiso can be seen in 23 rooms with 15 seats selected: Madrid (Ideal, Tresaguas, Plenilunio, Rivas Futura, Plaza Norte, Planetocio, Vallsur, Palafox), Barcelona (Icaria, Comedia), Cádiz (South Area), Málaga (Vialia), Almería (Torrecárdenas), Seville (Lagoh), A Coruña (Los Rosales), Vigo (Travesía de Vigo), Valencia (Mercado de Campanar), Vizcaya (Artea), Vitoria (Boulevard), Gijón (Ocimax), Oviedo (Los Prados), Santa Cruz de Tenerife (La Villa de Orotava), Las Palmas (Alisios).
Tickets will be available starting Tuesday the 23rd in the afternoon through the Cine Yelmo website.
In addition, Cine Yelmo premieres a new montage of the monumental film Apocalypse Now: Final Cut, made for its 40th anniversary. The great war epic, one of the most ambitious and eventful films in the history of cinema, returns in 4K and with a version that, according to Francis Ford Coppola himself, is the best of all.
On the occasion of the imminent premiere of Tenet, the highly anticipated premiere of Christopher Nolan, +Que Cine makes available to viewers Waiting for Nolan, which will include the screening of the films Dunkirk and Interstellar, as well as a special version of Origen which will include four exclusive minutes of Tenet and a 30-second special presentation by its director, Christopher Nolan.
