IFEMA postpones the celebration of BIT Media to 2021
This decision has been agreed with the BIT Media Organizing Committee, as a consequence of the economic situation generated by COVID-19.
BIT Media, Professional Audiovisual Technology Show, organized by IFEMA, postpones the celebration of its 2020 edition, scheduled for October 28 to 30, until new dates in 2021 that ensure the sector a more favorable celebration environment that allows it to boost its commercial activity.
This decision was made after the meeting held on June 24 with the BIT Media Organizing Committee In view of the current context that has generated the health crisis in the economic and social spheres that has generated the pandemic of COVID-19.
IFEMA has thanked the companies and professionals in the audiovisual world for their understanding and support in this difficult decision and hopes to continue working together in a future call, with the commitment to build an effective platform that contributes to the business and growth of the sector.
Panorama Awards, in 2021
The postponement of BIT Media will also mean that the next edition of the Panorama Awards, which is awarded by Panorama Audiovisual with the aim of promoting technological innovation in the sector, and whose delivery gala was scheduled for next October 28, will be postponed to 2021 coinciding with the opening of the Professional Audiovisual Technology Show.
These awards, which are usually awarded biennially coinciding with the first day of the main fair of the sector in Spain, recognize excellence, technological development and innovation of companies, professionals and productions in television, film, radio and advertising.
