Cinesa reopens five new cinemas in the Community of Madrid
With these new reopenings, the exhibition company has nine of its cinemas in operation in the Community of Madrid, more than half of those it has in the area.
Cinesa reopen this Monday, July 13, five of his cinematographic complexes: Cinesa Manoteras, Cinesa Méndez Álvaro, Cinesa Luxe La Moraleja (Alcobendas), Cinesa Parquesur (Leganés) and Cinesa Luxe Equinoccio (Majadahonda) under strict security measures.

Like their predecessors, these cinematographic complexes They incorporate all health and safety measures necessary to ensure the best cinema experience, with all the well-being of customers and employees. In this sense, social distancing measures have been applied, such as restricting the capacity of each session and guaranteeing free seats between spectators. Additionally, the company has invested in protocols to promote a circuit with minimal contact and prioritized cleaning systems, more intense and more frequent.
The reopened spaces will reopen their billboards with the main premieres of the week, as well as titles in replacement for all tastes.
With these reopenings, the company expands the possibilities for its Madrid clients to enjoy the seventh art exclusively and with the best image and sound quality. Like Cinesa Las Rozas Heron City, Cinesa Parquesur has an IMAX theater, whose particular design seeks to make the viewer part of the film. Its large curved screen (which goes from wall to wall and up to the ceiling) creates an immersive sensation that makes the user become part of the action. The sound, for its part, also offers spectacular quality thanks to the power of the patented speaker system that IMAX places from the floor to the ceiling.
For their part, Cinesa Luxe La Moraleja and Cinesa Luxe Equinoccio join Cinesa Luxe Xanadú and Cinesa LUXE Plaza Loranca 2 in the range of theaters available at Cinesa under this format, with reclining seats to ensure maximum comfort when living the cinema experience. Cinesa Luxe La Moraleja also has a D-BOX room, which allows you to immerse yourself in the film thanks to the immersive movement technology of its reclining seats, and Cinesa Luxe Equinoccio has a Screen
A return to activity in stages
Cinesa was the first film exhibition company to announce its return to activity after the stoppage that occurred since mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The company opted for a “staged” return, a process that began on June 8 with the reopening of Cinesa As Cancelas (Santiago de Compostela), Cinesa Puerto Venecia (Zaragoza) and Cinesa Luxe Bonaire (Valencia). Ten days later, on June 19, the company reopened its first cinemas in Madrid: Cinesa Luxe Xanadú and Cinesa Las Rozas Heron City.
On July 6, the exhibitor resumed its activity in Barcelona, Terrassa, the Canary Islands and Santander, with the reopening of Cinesa La Maquinista, Cinesa Parc Vallès, Cinesa Siete Palmas and Cinesa Bahía Santander, and resumed activity in more cinemas in Madrid – Cinesa Nassica and Cinesa Luxe Plaza Loranca 2 – and Galicia – Cinesa Marineda City –. With the reopenings on July 13, the company will have a total of 17 cinema complexes open in Spain.
