The combination of the two companies would create a major player in broadcast infrastructure, with combined revenues of more than €80 million.

Atem and the main shareholders of Anevia, which jointly own 87% of the share capital and 90% of the theoretical voting rights of the company, have filed negotiations for sale of this share package. The transaction has received prior unanimous support from the boards of directors of both parties. An “information-consultation” procedure will be launched with the representative bodies of the employees of the company and Ateme.

The combination of the two companies would create a major player in the broadcast infrastructure, with combined revenues of more than 80 million euros.

Michel Artières, president and CEO of Ateme, states that "the merger with Anevia and its high-performance solutions to optimize the delivery of video streaming is a key step in our strategy of expanding in the value chain of our clients and conquering new markets. Both companies share the same values of respect and innovation. Based on our mission to offer the best quality of experience, our ambition is to become the reference video solution for billions of consumers. The shared vision of the two companies and their strong culture should allow us to quickly create “significant value for our customers, employees and shareholders.”

Laurent Lafarge, president and CEO of Anevia, adds that "Anevia's management is delighted with this project to combine with Ateme, the leader in video distribution infrastructure. This combination is a tremendous opportunity to accelerate development in a buoyant market, thanks to a value proposition rich and strong in innovation."
