RTVE and the University of Zaragoza launch the Albayzín-RTVE 2020 challenge to the scientific community

Aimed at companies and universities involved in the communication sector, the new challenge aims to study and develop automation systems for documentary work in the audiovisual field.

The Spanish Radio Television Corporation and the University of Zaragoza they launch the challenge to the scientific community Albayzín-RTVE 2020, coinciding with the event IberSpeech 2020 which will be held in Valladolid, from March 24 to 26, 2021.

The IberSpeech event is the fifth that under this name brings together the XI Conference on Speech Technologies and the VI Iberian SLTech Workshop events.

This launch of a challenge to companies and universities involved in the communication sector, aims to study and development of automation systems for documentary work in the audiovisual field.

RTVE will provide participants with an annotated television broadcast database and the necessary tools for its evaluation, which is supported by the Thematic Network on Speech Technologies (RTTH) and the RTVE Chair of the University of Zaragoza.

Registration is now open to participants and starting next September 7, the evaluation period begins, which will end on October 9. More information, here.
