Among the new solutions, Bridge Live stands out, which facilitates the secure and reliable transport of UltraHD or multichannel HD video with a range of codec options and secure transport protocols over the public Internet.

AJA Bridge Live

AJA Video Systems has revealed new solutions and updates to help professionals keep pace with the increasing demand for live and on-demand content.

AJA's latest developments include Bridge Live, which facilitates the secure and reliable transport of UltraHD or multichannel HD video with a range of codec options and secure transport protocols over the public Internet; 12G-SDI to 64 channel audio embedder/de-embedder AND-DANTE-12GAM; the scan converter OpenGear OG-ROI-SDI; and the firmware Ki Pro Ultra 12G v2.0.

These solutions will be especially useful in remote production, streaming, post-production, and ProAV workflow environments, while simplifying on-site cabling at a time when social distancing and remote work setups are crucial.

AJA Bridge Live

AJA Bridge Live

A 1RU turnkey solution with support for deep metadata, Bridge Live simplifies transport of UltraHD or multichannel HD video between uncompressed baseband SDI to/from a wide range of streaming and contribution codecs (H.265, H.264, MPEG-2 and JPEG 2000) in real time.

The plug-and-play gateway solution supports a flexible set of containers and protocols, including SRT, RTMP/S, RTP, UDP and MPEG-TS, and extends to adaptive bitrate (ABR) ladder profiles and on-hand for OTT packaging.

AJA OG-DANTE-12GAM

AJA OG-DANTE-12GAM

As to AND-DANTE-12GAM es una nueva solución de alta densidad, compatible con OpenGear to bridge 12G/6G/3G SDI sources with embedded audio to and from the Dante IP audio ecosystem with 64 channels of simultaneous bridging.

Popular Dante audio networking technology Audinate provides a digital audio distribution over IP networks, supporting uncompressed, multi-channel, low-latency, high-resolution audio, with scalability, simplified cabling and easy installation.

This new proposal from AJA provides a high-density infrastructure solution that bridges Dante with SDI and vice versa, ideal for large venue production environments such as stadiums, theaters, concerts, stage rentals, houses of worship and universities. OG-DANTE-12GAM has compatibility with OpenGear frameworks, allowing up to 640 channels of SDI/Dante audio in a single 2RU frame with 10 cards.

AJA AND-ROI-SDI

Also new is OG-ROI-SDI, a OpenGear scan converter which allows high-quality conversion of the 3G-SDI input, and selection of the region of interest to 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs.

It features extensive audio functionality, incredible image scaling, aspect and frame rate conversion, and image rotation, including frame sync functionality.

Region of interest support allows professionals to easily extract signals from video sources for scanning, scaling and converting to HDMI and SDI from SDI sources.

AJA Ki Pro Ultra 12G

Firmware AJA Ki Pro Ultra 12G v2.0

Finally, AJA now has a new firmware, free download, for Ki Pro Ultra 12G v2.0 which brings several new improvements to this recorder/player. The latest update introduces new features that streamline high-raster workflows with varied video input sources, including the new input frame synchronization for the recording without genlock, and the 8K VPID link to power 8K/UltraHD2 workflows when using four Ki Pro Ultra 12G devices in tandem in 12G- or 6G-SDI mode.
