This is the largest launch that Mirada has had in Europe of its Iris solution with custom launcher for Android TV Operator Tier set-top boxes.

After a few months of testing, scarf, the new OTT payment platform in Spain is now fully operational, powered by Multimedia Operator Platform (PMO), a business initiative formed by historic cable operators such as PTV Telecom, Opencable and the Association of Local Telecommunications Operators of Andalusia (ACUTEL).

The launch of this new OTT service, developed with technology from Look, allows PMO subscribers to enjoy a seamless experience when watching content on all types of devices, from Android TV set-top boxes and computers, to Android and iOS mobile phones, tablets and a wide variety of smart TVs, including Samsung, LG, Sony, Philips, or HiSense.

This is the biggest launch that Mirada has had in Europe of your Iris solution with custom launcher for set-top boxes Android TV Operator Tier. From now on, all Zapi customers will be able to benefit from the features of Mirada's cutting-edge technology, in addition to having all the advantages of an Android solution, such as the Google Play Store with its wide variety of applications.

On the other hand, Zapi provides its subscribers with a android box highly demanded and user interface based on the Iris custom launcher, with Zapi's brand identity integrated, thus increasing its brand value, also enriched with other third-party services, including those of Google.

With this release, subscribers will be able to enjoy all the advanced features that Iris technology has, including unique tools for content discovery, catch-up, funcionalidades start-over y timeshift, personalized recommendations y cloud DVR among many others. PMO will also have access to LogIQ (Mirada's data analytics platform) through which it will be able to access highly valuable data, crucial not only to improve its operations and offer a better service to its subscribers, but also to take its business strategy and market positioning further, by obtaining highly relevant information about the use of the platform.

This project goes hand in hand with the strategy Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) from Mirada, which focuses on providing Iris multi-screen technology on major consumer devices, to meet a growing demand: being able to access available content from any platform. Following the initial launch, Mirada will continue working to roll out PMO's OTT service to more devices.
