Christie shares her vision of the future of cinema at Expocine 2020 in a virtual edition
Christie's landing page for Expocine will feature videos and resources on the future of cinema technology, service offerings, RealLaser lighting technology and Xenolite lamps.
Christie will participate in Expocine 2020, the virtual event of the Latin American film industry, which will be held on the days October 15 and 16. With its participation, Christie wants to demonstrate the company's support for all its partners and clients in such a complex time as the one we are going through.
The landing page from Christie for Expocine will show videos and resources on the future of cinema technology, service offerings, RealLaser lighting technology and Xenolite lamps, as well as training options aimed at preparing exhibitors for reopening.
Ricardo Laporta, sales director for Christie's Cinema in Latin America, "at Expocine 2020 we intend to renew our commitment to the film industry through new programs specifically designed to get exhibitors up and running as soon as possible. The programs include an extension of the guarantees of certain projectors that compensate for the forced closure of recent months."
Christie is well aware that theaters come in all sizes: from small screen cinemas to large PLF formats, using both laser technology and xenon lamp technology. That is why the company offers a service approach adapted to each client.
"Now that the theaters begin to reopen their doors, we want our partners to know that they can count on our support, supplying them with spare parts that we had in stock and offering them flexible financing, professional services and the widest warranty extension options in the sector. We have prepared thoroughly for the reopening by updating products and policies to provide exhibitors with all the help we can. We also continue to manufacture and prepare the launch of the next generation of cinema electronics," says Laporta.
Expocine's landing page takes a closer look at the family of RealLaser RGB projectors Christie, including the electronic platforms they incorporate. These are long-term reliable projectors, with high contrast and exceptional chromaticity and an unusually low cost of ownership.
Christie's RealLaser projectors have been the option chosen by many Latin American exhibitors, such as Cineplus in Brazil, Metrocinemas in Honduras, Cinemex in Mexico, CCM Cinemas in Costa Rica or Supercines in Ecuador.
