The operator has made the software, infrastructure, security and communications necessary for a new digital platform available to Vértice 360.

Telefónica Companies has developed together with Vertex 360 a pioneering solution that allows preserve digital content and the distribution of large digital files.

As anticipated by the newspaper Five Days, the operator has made the software, infrastructure, security and communications necessary for a new digital platform available to Vértice 360. This platform will facilitate the automation of tasks that were previously carried out manually, managing to speed up the processes.

Another benefit lies in the ease of sharing large video files with third parties, since the platform allows you to send and receive high-quality content quickly, avoiding interruptions in transfers and taking advantage of all the available bandwidth.

The project is proposed with a three-level architecture which guarantees the distribution of content from the cloud. First of all, the information is distributed among the company's own facilities, which have the necessary infrastructure to access the content, as well as to ensure that low-resolution copies (or proxy) can continue to be accessed in the event of a network failure.

On the second level, and with high-speed access to the Acens cloud, a subsidiary of Telefónica, are the most used content, as well as the transfer acceleration software that facilitates file exchanges. The third level is made up of the entire content catalog (deep storage) which also has geographical redundancy in infrastructure to add an additional level of security. The infrastructure is hosted in Telefónica's data centers in Madrid and Barcelona.

The new platform will also allow Vértice to streamline work with collaborators remotely and optimize the exploitation of its digital catalog.

These tools will be open, as Cinco Días explains, to companies in sectors such as cinema, advertising or culture, which use large formats that are difficult to manage digitally.
