On November 13, an open virtual event will be held that can be followed on YouTube about the evolution of the media ecosystem, new narrative formats, the management of the 'fan phenomenon', trends in Social Media and what lies behind television series.
He Congress on Communication and Technology, #Comunica2, which takes place on the Gandia Campus (Polytechnic University of Valencia) since 2010, this year it cannot be carried out in person, but it will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an online event next Friday, November 13, focused on new narrative formats, trends in Social Media and changes in communication.
"The postponement of the in-person edition as a result of COVID-19 has been a difficult decision for the management and the organization due to the enthusiasm and desire of the group of collaborators (more than 30 students), but Comunica2 is an event that usually brings together 250 people in person and reaching 10 years has been a challenge and a satisfaction that we wanted to share, so we opted for an 'appetizer' of the Congress, with an online event open to everyone and with very current topics," he points out. Rebeca Díez, co-director of Comunica2.
Therefore, the in-person celebration of the 10th edition of the Congress is postponed to May 13 and 14, 2021, but an open day will be held on Friday, November 13, which can be followed openly through the #Comunica2 YouTube channel. It will open with two talks on the evolution of the media ecosystem and transmedia, led by Carlos Scolari, professor of the Pompeu Fabra University, y Ariadna Fernandez, professor of the UPV.
