As every year by these dates prior to Christmas, Los40 Music Awards have celebrated a new edition, this time in virtual format, in which they have opted for technological innovation and maintaining the spectacularity that characterizes one of the most important national and international music galas in the country.

Planet Events, producer of the event, has trusted the specialist Audiovisual Fluge to execute an innovative and complex technical deployment, along with the supply of sound, lighting and video equipment.

To host an event of this magnitude, Fluge enabled five spaces in its Arganda del Rey facilities (Madrid), offering a comprehensive service in the same enclosure to provide maximum fluidity and speed in production processes, in addition to increasing productivity in technical, logistics and human sections.

As they point out from this company, "a breakthrough for the celebration of shows of great technical complexity, offering the possibility of simultaneously performing small or medium format events."

In the technical section of the scenario of this edition, Fernando Díaz He was in charge of designing the sound and Alain Corthout He did the same with lighting and video. To understand the complexity and dimension of the assembly, it is worth highlighting the deployment of audiovisual equipment supplied.

Spectacular lighting

The lighting of this impressive stage was composed of lighting systems Robe, with 60 Pointe, 60 MegaPointe, 72 Spiider, 66 BMFL WashBeam, 4 BMFL FollowSpot + RoboSpot System; by Clay Paky, with 60 Sharpy Plus, 76 Mythos 2, 48 SGM Q7, along with a Chamsys MQ500 + Stadium Wing control desk and an ELC fiber optic signal system.

For its part, the video equipment had 480 m² of LED display, divided into a large 25x6 meter screen, with a 4.8 mm pixel pitch on the rear, and six 7x4 meter double-sided screens with a 6.9 mm pixel pitch, all controlled by a Disguise VX4 system.

The renovated Fluge Audiovisuales facilities operated at full capacity for two weeks to carry out the Los40 Music Awards 2020, with the Louladi set, 1,000 m² and 14 meters high, as the main venue for the gala celebration, where the stage was installed on which the different live performances and the awards ceremony took place.

The Blue set, with an area of ​​800 m² and 10 meters high, adjacent to the previous one, was used for the presentation to the media of all the invited and award-winning artists, with the installation of a 12-meter photocall.

In addition, the VIP room, with 300 m² covered and a large 160m2 terrace, was made available to production, as it has a large meeting room from which to supervise the production phases. A set of digital interviews and a digital meet and greet via video call were also installed.

Rehearsal rooms were also added, with 60 and 85 m² of surface, equipped with a technical ceiling, soundproofed and customizable, for the installation of FOH control, broadcast design and mixing, streaming, sound editing, lighting and video.
