These radio productions bring together some of the best Spanish performers in the history of theatre, film and television in 'Mother in Belén' and 'The Easter Leaf'.

The Easter leaf

Zero Wave premieres next December 25 in the morning The Easter Leaf, a story written and directed by Carlos Alsina, which has Concha Velasco y Jose Sacristan in his main roles.

In this sound fiction, Concha Velasco plays the retired writer Blanca Garrido Lapuente, recently arrived at the residence. José Sacristán is Alberto Núñez Lobo, widower and plant lover. Affection and, also, longing will spring up between them when the pandemic separates them. Their fellow residents will hatch an (almost criminal) plan to reunite them again, which includes an escape, a robbery and an imposture. Charo López, María Galiana, Emilio Gutiérrez Caba and Miguel Rellán complete the cast of this comedy, written and directed by Carlos Alsina.

María Jesús Moreno and Marisol Parada have been in charge of the production, with recording by
Javier Martínez Dorado and Pepe Menchero, and editing by Fran Montes and Alsina himself.

The recording and production is the work of Dani Solís, Pepe Menchero, Javier Martínez Dorado, Fran Montes
and David Fernández Marcos

Mother in BethlehemMother in Bethlehem

Also on the morning of the 25th, more than one will issue a new version of Mother in Bethlehem, a text written and directed by Carlos Alsina, in which the actress Lola Herrera she embodies Mary of Nazareth, the woman who, at the end of her life, remembers the birth of her son in Bethlehem.

This dramatic fiction, which marks the return of Lola Herrera to the radio, a medium in which she took her first steps as an actress, was already performed last year by Blanca Portillo.

María Jesús Moreno and Marisol Parada have been in charge of the production, with recording by
Javier Martínez Dorado and Pepe Menchero, and editing by Fran Montes and Alsina himself.

With these two new productions, Carlos Alsina has managed to bring together a cast that is practically unthinkable today; actors and actresses who have shaped the history of cinema, theater and television in the last half century in our country, who have won practically all of the acting awards and who have earned the respect of the public.

Both productions will be broadcast next Friday, December 25, at 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., respectively, on more than one.
