Veset brings popular Twitch gaming channel LeStream to the cloud

vices has worked with Webedia to carry his popular gaming channel Twitch, LeStream, to the cloud-based linear television channel management platform, Veset Nimbus. Webedia is a global media and technology company that offers a wide range of content, including movies, games and esports, and lifestyle entertainment. The company was looking for an easy-to-use SaaS linear TV channel management system that would support live events for its channel. Twitch LeStream.

The channel moved to a fully cloud-based architecture on the Veset Nimbus platform in a few weeks. With around 80% of the channel's content being live, Webedia is able to host multiple live events and easily switch between them in the channel as needed.

The programming It is managed through the built-in programming module in Nimbus with intuitive drag and drop functionality. Webedia can also apply last-minute changes to the schedule as needed.

Antoine Hermite, CTO of Webedia, comments that "our gaming channel LeStream has been growing in popularity. Twitch is a good platform to attract gaming and esports fans, but we needed to be able to better manage that channel to improve our control of programming, as well as to be able to better monetize it through ad breaks. The Veset team was able to very quickly implement a cost-effective but powerful solution for us."

Igor Krol, CEO of Veset, adds that "Twitch is quickly becoming the OTT platform of choice for alternative content distribution. With LeStream, Webedia is making the most of its potential and building a popular niche channel with over 900 thousand subscribers. By integrating Veset Nimbus seamlessly with Twitch, Webedia can better manage that, as well as access monetization opportunities."
