Telekom Malaysia migrates ten of its channels to the cloud with Nimbus (Veset)

The Nimbus solution vices, operating in AWS, allows Telekom Malaysia manage the broadcast of ten of its regional channels from cloud environments.

The migration to a modality of playout cloud will allow Telekom Malaysia offer high-quality cross-platform content with the ability to adapt to viewer demand. By adopting this model, the company seeks to overcome the “Limitations” of traditional hardware-based broadcasting, betting on a model that allows a faster deployment of new channels and provides a broadcast infrastructure “more resistant and high performance.”

Nimbus is defined as a cloud issuance management platform intuitive, all-in-one, designed to streamline operations professional linear channels with high levels of operational complexity. As a software-as-a-service solution, Nimbus takes advantage of cloud advantages, allowing content owners to manage multiple linear channels flexibly.

The decision to adopt the cloud broadcast, explains vices, is due to TM's “commitment to innovation.” Gatis Gailis, CEO and founder of Veset, highlights the project: "As the industry evolves, and with today's viewers consuming content across multiple platforms, broadcasters must evolve to meet the changing demand.
