Real image and 2D animation will go hand in hand in the thriller 'Yrreal'

The project, produced by RTVE and MoA Studio for playz, received the development award that RTVE's young channel grants at Conecta Fiction.

Playz records his new fiction project, Yrreal, an action thriller with a lot of black humor and careful aesthetics that mixes real image and 2D animation. Produced by RTVE in collaboration with MoA Studio, the series was awarded the award that Playz grants in Conecta Fiction as a way of betting on new creators and emerging talent.

Yrreal It is being filmed these days in different locations in Madrid and tells the story of Elena and Lucía, two young women willing to do anything to do justice and discover the person responsible for a sexist murder. Veki Velilla (North Valley Hospital) and Angy Fernández (under the net) play the protagonists, a duo of aspiring comic heroines always on the brink of failure.

The cast is completed, among others, by Albert Baró, Silvia Vacas, Iván Montes, Nacho López, Manuel Teodulo, Eloy Azorín, Paco Churruca and Nacho Marraco.

The series has six episodes of twenty-five minutes each and can be seen on RTVE's digital platform after the summer. This directed by Alberto Utrera (Under the Net, Neverfilms), who is also co-writer along with Paula López Cuervo, Carlos Soria, Paula Sánchez and Sofía Robledo. The 2D animation is designed by Nuño Benito, taking charge of photography Miguel Angel Garcia and of the sound, Manuel Laguna.
