Simplylive expands range of UHD ViBox Replay servers

The company continues to take advantage of the constant improvement of GPU and CPU technologies to optimize its solutions for 6, 8 and 12 channel repeats.

Simplylive launches three versions of its range of UHD ViBox Replay servers of 6 (8 FHD), 8 (8 FHD) and 12 UHD channels (12 FHD channels, with up to 2 users).

All versions will include 5x 4TB SSD storage and will offer a total capacity of 32 hour recording in UHD per server. There will also be a storage upgrade option. 5x 8TB to double capacity to 64 hours.

Simplylive continues to leverage the constant improvement of GPU and CPU technologies to optimize its solution for replays. Replay operators have instant access to 6, 8 or 10 action cameras thanks to the core loop recording capability found in the ViBox range.

These ViBox solutions will offer future-proof capability with the support of 12Gbps and 3Gbps SDI connectivity for UHD and FHD formats, respectively. Customers can start with standard 1080i HD formats and gradually move up to FHD and eventually UHD 10bit.

These new generation solutions are completely networkable and allow direct access to any local or network source instantly and simultaneously. The multi-screen ViBox Replay UI enables multiple layout capabilities for synchronous navigation of camera feeds across different servers on the network.

This feature brings enormous editorial benefits to operators with the ability to view up to 15 synchronized cameras at the same time. The operator can navigate smoothly and find the perfect angles to highlight the action with speed and precision.

This ViBox replay solution integrates with complementary software such as XPort y BMR to export the selected clips and highlights and the ISO stream respectively. These add-on features of Simplylive software work seamlessly with post-production engines such as Adobe, Avid and Da Vinci for seamless transfers to/from editing stations to the ViBox server.
