Áralan Films y A Contracorriente Films produce The turtle maneuver, second film by Juan Miguel del Castillo.
The turtle maneuver is a police thriller with social overtones based on the novel of the same name by Benito Olmo. Belonging to the saga of Inspector Bianquetti, which was a finalist for the III Santa Cruz Prize for the best crime novel published in 2016. The film will be shot during the coming weeks in the city of Cádiz, Jerez de la Frontera, Seville and San Fernando.
Produced by Marta Velasco, Gonzalo Bendala, Adolfo Blanco, Fernando Riera y Manuel Monsoon, the script is signed by himself Juan Miguel of the Castillo along with José Rodriguez (Goodbye, The Plague, Diableros). The turtle maneuver It is a production of Áralan Films, A Contracorriente Films and The Turtle Maneuver, A.I.E., co-produced by Aleph Media (Argentina) with the participation of RTVE, Channel On y Movistar+. It is subsidized by the ICAA and the AAIICC, with financing from Triodos Bank and Crea SGR; and is sponsored by the Provincial Council of Cádiz. Cast and plot
Starring by Fred Aden In their first leading role together with Natalia de Molina, they are accompanied in the casting by actors Ignacio Mateos, Mona Martínez, Carlos Manuel Díaz and Gerardo de Pablos.

This is the synopsis of the work: "Inspector Manuel Bianquetti is forced to accept a transfer to the Cádiz police station. His initial tranquility will be shattered by the discovery of the corpse of a young woman who will remind him of a past that torments him. Despite the opposition of his superiors, Bianquetti will undertake a solitary crusade to catch the culprit, following evidence that could be the fruit of his imagination. His neighbor, a fragile nurse harassed by her ex-partner, seems to be the "the only person who is on your side."
