Miguel Furnier shoots his first film in just four days

The film 'Inhumanus: Free Animal', directed by Miguel Furnier with production by Coco Films next to Stop & Play, it only took four days to finish filming a film that will last 80 minutes.

If shooting a movie seems like a complicated feat, doing it in just four days is quite a challenge that the Coco Films team has achieved. But this milestone has been possible thanks to excessively long shots or sequence shots. Quite the opposite. The team has managed to shoot around 250 shots to complete the film's more than 80 total minutes.

Se podría pensar que tanto las interpretaciones como la calidad de la película se hayan visto comprometidas por las “prisas”, pero este no ha sido el caso. Basta con echar un vistazo a cómo se ven sus primeras imágenes. Todo el equipo ha cuidado al máximo cada detalle para conseguir el mejor resultado.

“Cuando Miguel Furnier, su director, nos planteó el reto en Coco Films, creíamos que era una locura imposible de conseguir. Pero lo logramos”, señala Nuria Sáez, productora en Coco Films.

From the beginning, the script itself was planned to be able to be filmed in such a short time. Two actors and a single location, it was essential to achieve it. At the beginning, the team set the challenge of achieving it in just three days, but they finally had to extend it to four. “It helped a lot that Miguel Furnier had everything so clear and that it was exactly what he needed,” acknowledges the executive producer. Inhuman: Animal book is a home invasion thriller, where a serial killer, posing as a courier, sneaks into the home of a young woman who lives alone. The feature film, which will be released in 2026, has featured performances by Tomy Álvarez and Patricia Garó in their main roles.
