RTVE supports the new Alliance for Vocational Training

The Alliance for Vocational Training, promoted by the Ministry of Education, companies, entities and institutions, will have the support of RTVE.

The agreement to promote the initiative, whose objective is to promote education in the field of Vocational Training, has been signed by the president of RTVE, José Manuel Pérez Tornero, and the Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Isabel Celaá.

Under the title 'A country strategy', the objective of the plan is to promote the Training Professional in line with the new framework for action defined in the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Taking as reference Declaration de OsnabrückAt the European level, Vocational Training is intended to serve as a mechanism for recovery and transitions towards digital and green economies.

Alliances and synergies

The Alliance for Vocational Training Its essential mission is to join forces and seek synergies between administrations, companies, third sector entities and social agents. Likewise, it seeks to promote specific initiatives that contribute to configuring “effective, dynamic and excellent” Vocational Training.

These will have to favor, within the framework of the National System of Professional Qualifications, both initial training and permanent updating throughout the lives of students and the active, employed or unemployed population.

The Alliance for Vocational Training will have an annual work plan in which specific actions will be outlined to achieve these objectives. Among the lines of action, it is worth highlighting the opening of calls for innovation projects for the exchange and dissemination of good practices between training centers and companies, and the creation of the FPConecta platform, which will serve to mobilize the Vocational Training ecosystem made up of all the member entities of this initiative.
