'El Inmortal', the new series that DLO Producciones and Telemundo are filming for Movistar+

The life of the band's leader and founder The Miami will be counted in The Immortal. This new original series of Movistar+ is produced by the platform, DLO productions y Telemundo International Studios.

The Immortal is a crime drama directed by David Ulloa y Rafa Montesinos, and written by Diego Sotelo y David Moreno. The series, which will feature 8 50 minute episodess, filming began on May 4 in Madrid, although it is currently being filmed in Alicante. These are the two main locations of a fiction whose filming will last for 17 weeks.

The last original of Movistar+, based on an idea of José Manuel Lorenzo, aims to show the rise and fall of the leader of The Miami, which will be interpreted by Alex Garcia. Completing the cast are Emilio Palacios, Marcel Borràs, Jason Day, María Hervás, Teresa Riott, Jon Kortajarena and Francis Lorenzo.

Synopsis

Movistar+ has shared the official plot description of The Immortal: "During the 90s, cocaine trafficking and control of Madrid's nightclubs was in the hands of a gang that monopolized hundreds of covers and television programs: Los Miami. Their name caused panic in those who heard it. "El Inmortal" was the boss of all of them. This story is inspired by his reign and the city that saw him die so many times."
