The series 'El centro', created by David Moreno, directed by David Ulloa and scripted by David Moreno, Raúl López and Eva Saiz, is a current and realistic espionage thriller focused on a group of CNI Intelligence Officers who Movistar+ Plus y Fonte Films They shoot in Madrid.

David Ulloa highlights that “being the center a series of spies, the challenge was not to just stop there and give a little twist to the matter, delving as deeply as we could into each of our characters. In that, we directors are not very different from those spies. Emotional vampires who sneak into people's privacy and observe without being seen. Thanks to that we will understand the commitment of our protagonist, Michelin, for a higher cause despite all the sacrifice it entails. How do you maintain that delicate balance between your vocation as a member of the CNI and your family stability? How do you manage not to lose your sanity in this world of half-truths, mistrust and sometimes betrayals? We will lead from the shadows, with well-prepared coverage and hoping that they do not notice our presence.”

Set in the present day, but with echoes of the Cold War, the center it's a spy thriller that delves into the unknown universe of the National Intelligence Center (CNI). The plot begins with a murder that uncovers an international operation and leads the protagonists in a race against time to discover a traitor in their ranks, while they try to dismantle a conspiracy led by the enigmatic Russian agent Volkov.

The series is an intimate, ensemble look at the challenges intelligence officers face as they navigate duty, loyalty and betrayal.

The center has a choral cast headed by Juan Diego Botto, Elena Martín, Israel Elejalde, Elisabet Casanovas, Clara Segura, Tristán Ulloa, David Lorente and Nacho Sánchez. Filming of the series is scheduled to end in February and its premiere will arrive throughout 2025.
