Audi Future Stories in Rhodes

The short film script competition Audi Future Stories will reward the best proposal with the experience of having Kike Maíllo co-direct a short film.

The initiative of Audi aims promote the directors and scriptwriters of the future of Spanish cinema, who are currently in the main film schools in the country, helping them create their first work. The schools Higher School of Cinema and Audiovisuals of Catalonia (ESCAC), TAI University School of Arts and Entertainment, Basque Country Film School e Imval Audiovisual Communication of Bilbao, of have confirmed their participation.

Participants in this first edition will have to send before the next June 14 their script proposal through the Film Schools where they study. Once the winning short has been selected, the winners will have the opportunity to make your piece come true. The scripts submitted must be of the thriller genre and have a duration of between 10 and 15 minutes. The new Audi Q4 e-tron, a 100% electric compact SUV, will be the model on which the proposed stories will revolve.

Support from Kike Maíllo

The jury of this contest, whose composition will be announced soon, will be made up of relevant people from the field of cinema and the audiovisual world. Among them will be the director, producer and screenwriter Female Maíllo (Cosmetics of the enemy, Toro, You and me), who will be in charge of co-direct the winning short film along with the winners. In addition, the production of the winning short will have a “significant financial endowment” for its filming and will be presented in a premiere within the framework of the San Sebastian International Film Festival.

own Maíllo comments on her participation in the project: "Giving students the opportunity to create content and, above all, to find their voice is crucial.
