ARRI HI-5 - Handheld Unit

The Hi-5 handheld unit ARRI, which will replace the WCU-4, brings interchangeable radio modules to manual wireless controls for cameras and lenses.

Con una banda ISM de 2,4 GHz With often congested conditions and different frequency regulations in different countries, the ability to swap radio modules will allow teams to choose the module that best suits each filming location. ARRI will launch three radio modules in the ranges of 900 and 2400 MHz, using direct sequence and spread spectrum frequency hopping technology to cut out interference. As technology evolves, ARRI is committed to adding more modules.

Other keys to the design of the ARRI Hi-5 are its pre-marked smart focus rings, which now communicate directly with the Hi-5's manual unit, being instantly recognized and assigned to the lens' focus scale; his resistance to adverse environmental conditions, since its reinforced casing arrives sealed and resistant to dust and weather; or their batteries based on NP-L interface, which can be hot-swapped without shutting down the unit and accurately express its remaining capacity.
