Dazn Italia launches its own set-top box to support the start of Serie A

Italian viewers who live in areas where there is no fibre optic connection will still be able to benefit from the offer of Dazn with the purchase of your own set-top box.

The Dazn TV Box, which will debut on the Italian market taking advantage of the fact that the company owns the rights to the Serie A 2021-2022, will use the transmission of a specific digital terrestrial channel (409, DAZN Channel) to broadcast the main matches of the competition.

The device, with a fixed cost of €139, also allows internet connection via a smartphone, thus offering an alternative route to Wi-Fi / Ethernet. Those users interested in the device will have to add the monthly cost of the subscription to the platform to the cost of the TV Box.

The development of DAZN, offered by Digiquest, arrives exclusively on the Italian market. For now, the company has not revealed plans to extend this formula to other markets.
