Vizrt updates Mosart to version 5.0: “story recorder” function, NRCS plugin…

Mosart studio automation software Vizrt reaches version 5.0, starring the new function Story Recorder.

Con Story Recorder, production teams can pause recording to review an element, rectify an error, or ultimately improve the show. The new Vizrt system is capable of reestablishing all elements of the study (graphics, robotic camera positions...) to a specific position. Once the replay and shooting are finished, Story Recorder It automatically joins the segments of the program, leaving it ready for broadcast without the need for significant post-production editing.

Vizrt estimates that Story Recorder ““halves” the time directors, producers and editors spend in the editing room, freeing up their time for “more productive work like “show planning or more advanced editing.” Niels Borg, product manager at Viz Mosart, highlights Story Recorder: "Prior to this launch, our customers used Viz Mosart to add automation benefits to recorded programs, but the result still required additional post-production before being broadcast. With Viz Mosart 5 and Story Recorder the need for editing is eliminated: a recorded program with multiple replays can be ready to broadcast in minutes."

Viz Mosart 5.0 also arrives with a new plugin NRCS, compatible with all MOS-based NRCS systems and allowing direct editing of MOS objects, as well as new drivers for Ross Video Acuity, PTZ cameras Panasonic and the Grass Valley K2.
