Mediapro and Dorna will produce a docuseries for Amazon about the world of MotoGP behind the scenes
Prime Video A new docuseries about the MotoGP World Championship will premiere in 2022 that will show for the first time the day-to-day life of the riders and teams as they prepare and compete in the championship events throughout the 2021 season.
Produced by The Mediapro Studio in collaboration with Dorna, the new docuserie Amazon Exclusive will have eight 50-minute episodes of duration that will follow several stars of the maximum competition of MotoGP, both drivers and team managers of the most important teams. The series will show unprecedented access to both the training sessions and pits of the circuits, as well as a unique look at his most personal side.
The series will feature riders such as Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda Team), the icon Valentino Rossi (Petronas Yamaha SRT), the current champion Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini), the new runner-up Francesco 'Pecco' Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), or the 2020 champion, Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar), among others, in addition to an important presence of directors of equipment.
The docuseries offers a unique point of view on the goals and objectives that different teams set for themselves on a daily basis. Through exclusive material from their daily lives, this production will address both the stories of improvement of these young drivers with a promising future, as well as that of the veterans leading the teams. Viewers will have access for the first time to an intimate, unique and exclusive look at the challenges that drivers and teams must face, both on and off the circuit, and what it takes to be part of one of the most prestigious motorsports competitions in the world.
