AJA presents the new Io X3 and updates Desktop Software to version 16.2
The Io AJA.
AJA has announced the I X3, a solution that offers capture and output HDR o SDR 2K/HD through 3G-SDI y HDMI, and that streamlines high-quality HDR I/O up to 2K/HD 60p on Mac or PC hosts equipped with Thunderbolt 3 compatible devices running professional video and audio applications.
Whether working remotely, on set or in a studio, Io X3 provides a mobile workflow solution One, two and multi-channel SDI, offering a “Pristine” 2K/HD/SD I/O with HDR directly from any modern laptop or computer. With four independent inputs for workflows with OBS y Wirecast, along with simultaneous MultiView monitoring for each source, Io X3 also presents itself as a suitable solution for streaming environments.
More keys to the Io X3 are its eight switchable analog audio ports, allowing users to switch between eight input or output channels, or split connectivity between four inputs and four outputs; your connection 3.5 analog audio, to directly connect headphones; the inclusion of Up to 16 audio channels on each SDI port, y 8 channels in HDMI; and their small size, which allow them to be easily placed side by side in a rack for studio, mobile unit or video support needs, allowing users to benefit from up to eight I/O channels of up to 2K/HD/SD in a 1RU.

Desktop Software v16.2
Beyond the Io X3, AJA has presented the version v16.2 de Desktop Software, which introduces a wide range of workflow improvements, including the latest support for macOS; new support for Note Studio; Improved workflows 12 bits, 444, RGB to 4K/UltraHD; updated LUT functionality; new codec and special playback support in Control Room; and expanded multichannel audio.
One of the keys to Desktop Software v16.2 is its integration with OBS Studio v27.2. Once the AJA solution is installed on a system running OBS, AJA devices will be immediately available for multi-channel or single-channel capture and switching up to 4K/UltraHD 30p y 2K/HD 60p.
Desktop Software v16.2 also enables greater flexibility and color workflows 4K/UltraHD more precise and vivid, courtesy of new firmware 12-bit RGB, 4:4:4, for KONA 5 and Corvid 44 12G, with support for a full 12-bit pipeline through capture to color space conversion and output. This functionality is supported by a format update .cube for all capacities 12-bit and 10-bit LUT, providing greater compatibility between AJA hardware and third-party color and mastering applications. Workflow options with the included AJA Control Room software are expanded by adding capture and playback of H.264 y H.265 hasta 2K/HD 60p, including support for timecode and subtitles, and also provide seamless support for mobile devices, los PC and the media DOG Let the Pro GO.
Additionally, this version also includes new deep memory buffer capabilities for the control room to maintain constant playback in case storage or network bottlenecks interrupt the flow of data from the storage to the video output host.
SDK v16.2 also introduces a number of new features, including the 64/32 channel audio support with KONA 5, Corvid 44 12G, Corvid 88 and Corvid 44, allowing users to ingest and emit up to 64 discrete audio channels through multiple SDI links, which adapts to the latest 8K workflows that require audio mastering 22.2.
