RTVE will broadcast some of the programs of the Association of University Radios thanks to a collaboration agreement
Spanish Radio Television (RTVE) and the Association of University Radios of Spain have signed a collaboration agreement for the dissemination of radio programs about Spanish universities.
The agreement has been signed by Ignacio Elguero, director of education, cultural and international diversity of RTVE, and the president of the Association of University Radios, Daniel Martin Pena.
The Association of University Radio Stations of Spain (ARU) integrates 32 stations that broadcast from 29 Spanish universities, public and private. Among its objectives, promote the presence of the Spanish university in society, exchange experiences, contribute to cultural and educational development, or support research and the creation of new radio formats.
RTVE undertakes to publicize the information provided by the association on the activities carried out by Spanish universities, as well as to disseminate, through Foreign Radio of Spain, some of the Association's radio programs. Also to integrate ARU in training initiatives such as courses, conferences, seminars, symposiums, etc. that may be of interest. For their part, university radio stations are committed to production of a weekly podcast with a duration of 30 minutes that would be broadcast on the channel Only on Podcast of National Radio of Spain.
In addition, the Association of University Radios will collaborate in the dissemination of the II University Microtheater Competition produced by National Radio of Spain, which will incorporate an expert from ARU as part of the jury. It will also provide RTVE information and content and will provide radio programs related to the university to be transmitted through Foreign Radio of Spain.
