Tirso Calero joins the creative team of The Mediapro Studio

The Mediapro Studio has decided to incorporate screenwriter Tirso Calero into its ranks, specialized in daily broadcast series such as Loving in troubled times o Shoulder strap.

With more than 20 years of career and specialized above all in the creation of daily broadcast series, he has been responsible, among others, for titles such as Serve and protect, whose sixth season is broadcasting RTVE and for which he received the award ALMA for Best Daily Series, and Shoulder strap, fiction set in 19th century Andalusia starring Marta Hazas.

Tirso Calero has been script coordinator from series like Love is forever, The Alquería Blanca o Great Reserve. The Origin and has been part of the writing teams of great television hits such as Ana and the seven o Tell me how it happened. He has also led forays into the cine, as director of feature films Raw meat y Blockbuster, and screenwriter of the films Barren y Bernard, based on texts by Federico García Lorca; and it is author of two novels: Ozone, published in 2020, and The last trip of Víctor Reyes, based on the character played by Juanjo Artero in Loving in troubled times. In addition, he signs the texts of the theatrical works Love Room, Swingers, Avocados y Tarantula.
