Harmonic's VOS 360 and XOS become compatible with HDR10+

Harmonic has been revealed within the framework of NAB 2022 that its VOS 360 cloud streaming platform and the XOS advanced multimedia processing solution become compatible with HDR10+.

HDR10+ is a high dynamic range (HDR) technology that is supported by more than 130 companies. Harmonic's newly added tool adds dynamic metadata to HDR10 source files to optimize the color contrast and image details of each frame of HDR video for consumer viewing capabilities. The result is an image that more closely represents the original creative intention of the directors.
