Haivision - Aviwest - SRT

The SRT protocol Haivision has already been fully integrated into the core of the IP contribution solutions of Aviwest, which will offer new alternatives to cover live events, news and sports.

The introduction of the SRT support in the series Aviwest Pro, Air y Rack makes possible the interoperability with the entire Haivision product portfolio and others SRT-enabled solutions. Originally developed by Haivision, SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) is an open source video transport protocol that optimizes real-time streaming over unpredictable networks. Widely adopted by the media and entertainment industry, SRT provides television broadcasters with a secure and reliable solution for contributing low-latency video over the Internet. SRT includes the Low latency packet loss recovery and 128/256-bit AES encryption for end-to-end security. The integration of SRT into Aviwest solutions comes after Haivision closed the acquisition of IP contribution solutions company in April 2022.
