JVC will support the SRT open streaming IP protocol in its Connected Cam cameras

The incorporation of SRT completes support for the protocol Zixi that these cameras already offer, thus expanding the options for transporting video over IP.

In addition to the SRT protocol, JVC connected cameras also support Zixi, effectively addressing the challenges (latency, jitter and packet loss) of transporting content over LTE, Wi-Fi and LAN networks. Both protocols ensure that cameras are equipped with the reliable IP packet transport necessary to meet the expectations of broadcast-quality video in a professional production environment.
