French Pixagility joins the SRT Alliance

Pixagility, a multi-service video platform focused on French-speaking content, has just joined the SRT Alliance, the collaborative community that aims to achieve lower latency Internet video transport.

Within the framework of Pixagility's global strategy to become a leading technological player in the knowledge of the different broadcast protocols on the Internet, the technical teams have naturally identified the SRT protocol as an important innovation in the media industry.

Joining the SRT Alliance should allow Pixagility to improve the competencies of its teams in the protocol domain, to better serve its international clients.

The SRT Alliance, founded by Haivision As of April 2017, it already has more than 500 members. Its mission is to overcome the challenges of low-latency live streaming by supporting the collaborative development of SRT (Secure Reliable Transport), the fastest growing open source streaming project.

SRT is an open source video transport protocol and technology originally developed by Haivision, which enables the delivery of high-quality, secure, low-latency video over the public Internet.
