Producer José María Morales collects the first Green Ray from the Film Academy and Greenpeace

The Film Academy has hosted the award ceremony to the Madrid producer and distributor José María Morales of the first Rayo Verde award, an initiative of the institution and Greenpeace to recognize Spanish film professionals for their commitment to environmental and social values.

I think we have disconnected from what we are, we are nature, and your productions have been helping us move forward in that relationship of reconnecting with it," he said.
