The Film Academy and Greenpeace create the Rayo Verde award

With the aim of recognizing the film professionals most committed to the environment, the Film Academy y Greenpeace have created the Rayo Verde Award.

This new award is part of the collaboration agreement that the two entities signed this Tuesday at the Academy headquarters.

This joint initiative aimed at entities, institutions or Spanish film professionals (technical and creative) who celebrate the spirit of the award with their work, will be held annually and its first edition will take place before June 1, 2022.

A jury made up of members of the Board of Directors of the Academy and Greenpeace, and a fifth member chosen by consensus of both parties among professionals from both fields, will award the Green Ray, a prize without financial prize that will consist of a sculpture by the designer Marina Anaya.
