Blackbird appoints Mo Volans as SVP of Product Marketing

From Vegas Creative Software, Mo Volans Joins Developer of Cloud-Native Video Editing Platform Blackbird as SVP of Product Marketing.

Mo Volans has worked with leading brands in professional audio, video and technology for over twenty years. He began his journey as a music producer and content creator and found his calling in product marketing and growth strategy.

He went on to lead global marketing teams, run a successful agency, and create award-winning and growth products for some of the most innovative names in the media industry.

An entrepreneurial approach eventually led to the creation and exit of his own hardware company. This experience provided Volans with a deep knowledge of consumer psychology and the skills necessary to produce an optimal user experience.

In addition, he has held senior positions at Brainworx / Plugin Alliance and has been a strategy advisor at Abbey Road studios. Most recently, as SVP of Marketing at MAGIX/Vegas Creative Software, he shaped the strategy for their entire professional audio and video product portfolio.
