Telemadrid begins a new process of aid to finance audiovisual works
For the sixth consecutive year, Radio Television Madrid (RTVM) opens a public competition process to determine the audiovisual projects (feature films, shorts, documentaries, animated series...) that will be financed by 6% of the income earned for all providers of television audiovisual communication in accordance with the provisions of the LGCA.
All projects must be submitted through the electronic platform enabled by RTVM on your website before the next July 11. As in recent years, a valuation commission will analyze and evaluate all projects received according to some objective criteria and to the principles of publicity, transparency, free competition and objectivity.
As Telemadrid points out, the Valuation Commission may propose the exclusion of those requests on projects whose theme or content were inappropriate or contrary to RTVM principles. The rest of the applications will be evaluated according to criteria such as technical quality of the project (30 points), the artistic quality of the project (15 points), the budget and its adaptation to the project (Financing plan, production plan and dissemination plan) (20 points), the suitability of the project for the television medium, assessing the suitability of each proposal for broadcast and exploitation through television (25 points) and the use of Madrid resources (10 points).
As a result of the assessment carried out in accordance with these criteria, the Commission will prepare a financing proposal to the RTVM Provisional Administrator.
