Disney+ lands on the Orange television platform
Orange y Disney have signed a strategic agreement that will allow the operator to offer its customers, starting in August, the universe of brands and content of Disney+.
The streaming service Disney+ includes films, series, shorts and original and exclusive content from brands as Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic y Star. The latter groups together all the content of the service's most general offer, which includes formats such as The Simpsons, Grey's Anatomy, The Walking Dead, Just Murders in the Building o The Kardashians.
These contents will be integrated into the Orange TV interface, thus making it easier for the viewer to access and search of its contents Disney+ favorites, both in the Orange 4K television decoders, as well as in multi-device (smartphone, tablet, web or Smart TV), to be able enjoy them wherever the client is during the summer break. The operator will announce in the coming days the way in which these contents will be commercialized within the framework of Orange's entertainment offer.
Ignacio García-Legaz, general director of television at Orange, considers that this agreement is another “step” in its objective of becoming the “largest aggregator of audiovisual content in the Spanish market, with premium and high-value content for our clients.”
"We are very proud to have closed this alliance with Disney, which allows us to complete our content offer with very recognizable franchises and with a very extensive catalog of titles for all ages. It is a very relevant step to complete the best offer of film and series entertainment, which is added to the recent renewal of all football and other premium sports, such as Formula 1, Moto GP or the Euroleague basketball", he adds. García-Legaz.
