LiveU boosts its Matrix cloud service with a new 1RU transceiver
Matrix cloud video distribution service LiveU multiply your possibilities with the arrival of a 1RU encoder/decoder with up to four SDI input/output feeds.
The latest solution LiveU, which will be present in IBC 2022, aims to allow the television networks and content producers Simultaneously share and receive high-quality live feeds and low latency to and from global destinations as part of a single workflow. With the combined encoding and decoding on the same device, users can “easily” switch from inputs to outputs on the fly. The system, which does not require prior configuration, can be managed remotely through LiveU Central.
The service LiveU Matrix take advantage of the protocol LiveU Reliable Transport (LRT) to execute high-quality live video distribution, inside or outside the organization. Your users can manage an exponential number of live streams and share them with a global audience. Today, Matrix offers access to over 5000 LiveU customers worldwide world, “which makes its distribution capabilities grow.”
Amir Kamzel, vice president of product at LiveU, details how the new transceiver enhances the capabilities of Matrix: "It offers great flexibility, reducing the need for multiple encoding and decoding devices with a dedicated distribution and contribution solution. Users can dynamically choose the optimal combination of SDI distribution and reception channels, supporting up to four simultaneous feeds."
