Hollyland simplifies wireless workflows with its latest solutions

Ruby Wang, EU Branch General Manager en Hollyland, analyzes in this video interview some of the latest innovations that the manufacturer has presented at IBC 2022 such as the Mars 4K UHD wireless video transmission system and the Mars M1 all-in-one monitor.

As evident at IBC 2022, device simplification and experience improvement have been at the heart of Hollyland's product design this year, and the Mars 4K and Mars M1 represent significant items, effectively improving the user experience by requiring fewer devices, easier deployment and greater flexibility.

The new wireless video system Mars 4K allows the 4K UHD video streaming at 30fps to those users who seek to produce content while maintaining high fidelity. HDMI supports up to 3840x2160 30p, although it is also compatible with 1080p and 720p formats. Mars 4K also supports decimal frame rates input from SDI, such as 23.98, 29.97 and 59.94, and output from the receiver's HDMI and SDI output port.

They are dual core coding chip Enhanced is capable of reaching data speeds ranging from 8 Mbps to 20 Mbps, with 12 Mbps as the default value. Regarding the range of Hollyland's latest solution, it has a LOS of 150 meters with a latency of 0.06 seconds.

Hollyland also premiered in Amsterdam on Mars M1, a solution low latency transmitter, receiver and monitor all in one. One of its main attractions is its 5.5-inch touch LCD screen with five 3D-LUT preset files, supporting Rec. 709 color gamut, professional color calibration and color temperature adjustment. This new product offers a range of 150 meters and a latency of 0.08 seconds.

Additionally, Mars M1 supports 4K/30fps HDMI input and output, SDI input and DC output for external devices, plus a USB-C interface for expanded connectivity and compatibility. Auxiliary functions include 4x zoom, focus assist, exposure assist and waveform display. Mars M1 can be used with the Mars 4K, Mars 300 Pro, Mars 400s Pro and Hollyland's upcoming Mars Pro/4k series.

Other Hollyland solutions present at IBC 2022 were the full-duplex wireless headset intercom solution Solidcom C1 and wireless microphone Lark M1, with HearClear noise cancellation function, among other new features.
