Goyas 2023 shortlisted documentaries

For the 37th edition of the Goya Awards, which will take place in Seville on February 11, there will be five documentaries that will be nominated based on these fifteen preselected titles.

The productions preselected by the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain son: To the women of Spain. Maria Lejarraga, by Laura Hojman; Singing on the rooftops, by Enric Ribes; The critic, by Javier Morales and Juan Zavala; The groc sostre (The yellow roof), by Isabel Coixet; Francesca and love, from Alba Sotorra; Goya, the listening eye, by José Luis López-Linares; La cuina dels homes (The kitchen of men), by Silvia Subirós; Labordeta, a man without more, by Gaizka Urresti and Paula Labordeta; The walls speak, by Carlos Saura; McCurry. The search for color, de Denis Delestrac; Oswald. The forger, by Kike Maíllo; Reja Peak. The truth that the earth hides, by Arturo Andújar and Remedios Málvarez; Robin Bank, by Anna Giralt Gris; Feeling very sorry, by Fernando León de Aranoa; and Tolyatti Adrift, by Laura Sisteró.

The 15 feature films, which have been designated by the Academy's Documentary Specialty, will be screened starting October 27 within the framework of the institution's activities.
