Ross Video Voyager Trackless Studio

Voyager Trackless Studio, Ross Video’s all-in-one solution for generating photorealistic environments in virtual environments, powered by Epic Games’ Unreal engine, has now been unveiled.

Voyager Trackless Studio is committed to bringing accessibility to the creation and management of graphics for virtual environments through an interface that can be used by users with “limited technical knowledge”, making the graphics area accessible to anyone involved in a production. Similarly, Ross Video’s latest development, with flexibility at its core, provides the tools necessary for users with limited studio space to change set designs “quickly and easily with minimal financial investment”.

Ross Video Voyager Trackless StudioSome of the key features of Voyager Trackless Studio include the inclusion of pre-designed and customisable sets, which come installed as part of the solution; support for HD/4K/UHD productions, 12G and IP workflows, HDR and WCG; simplified workflows, thanks to a blueprint-based logic, multi-language support and remote (client-server) operation; integration with other products in the Ross Video ecosystem; and remote control capabilities. This philosophy, notes Ross Video, is suited to workflows such as sports TV, weather broadcasts, election coverage, news studios, remote production with mobile units or remote training.

Manesh Patel, director of product management and business development for Ross Video’s virtual graphics business, emphasises the versatility of Voyager Trackless Studio, as “it allows photorealistic environments in a single studio or by just using a green screen”. “It’s an incredible entry-point for those who have limited technical expertise,” adds Patel.
