International co-production days Tenerife Canary Islands cluster

The imminent days of international co-production that will be held in Tenerife They aim to complement the theoretical approach about the international co-productions, in a general framework (Nina Frese), and in the legal specific (Isabel Mariscal), along with the learning based on shared experience from Canarian producers. Other national production companies will be part of the event, such as Chelo Loureiro (Unicorn Wars (2022) o Valentina (2021)), o Alina Films, co-producers of The Water y The year of discovery.

The conference begins on Monday, December 12, with the presentation Introduction to international co-production, directed by Nina Frese (Pandora Film Produktion). On Tuesday, December 13, they will be analyzed The legal aspects of international co-production. The framework for everything to happen, with the intervention of Isabel Mariscal (Singular Law). On Wednesday, December 14, the current situation will be discussed at the table Coproduce from the Canary Islands, new aids and tools, led by Francisco Moreno, sole administrator of Radio Televisión Canaria; Pedro Carballido, technician of the Canarian Institute of Cultural Development, and Pedro Monzón, director of the Foreign Promotion Division of PROEXCA. Next, Darío Sánchez (3 Doubles productions) will discuss the situation of the International animation co-productions from the Canary Islands and José Miguel Viña and Jairo López, (El Viaje Films) will take a tour of international co-productions, from El Viaje Films. On the last day, December 15, we will talk about International co-production in animation projects: an opportunity and learning, with Chelo Loureiro (Abano Producions). Finally, Eugenia Mumenthaler and David Epiney (Alina Film) will tell their experience in international co-production.
