The Audiovisual Foundation of Andalusia organizes the XIV Professional Conference 'Digital Content: A global and transversal industry', which will take place in Seville on May 26 and 27.

 XIV Transversal Content ConferenceCompanies and professionals from the audiovisual and ICT sector will meet in Seville on May 26 and 27 at an event dedicated to Digital Content. These are the Professional Conferences organized by the Audiovisual Foundation of Andalusia, which in its 14th Edition will offer a complete vision of a modern industry, the digital one (audiovisuals, video games, animation,...), characterized by its globality and transversality, and currently considered one of the sectors with the greatest potential for growth and job creation.

In its commitment to redefine the concept of the audiovisual sector, expanding it from the traditional cultural point of view to a more technological point of view, the AVA Foundation seeks with this event to promote the meeting and reinforce the establishment of networking networks between these two strategic sectors for Andalusia, around a topic of current interest for the industry.

Through theoretical-practical presentations by renowned experts and thematic sessions with businessmen and professionals who will present their experiences, the audience will learn first-hand about the new trends and strategic lines of this industry of the future, which includes companies and professionals from the audiovisual and ICT sectors of Andalusia, advertising companies, cultural companies (music, book publishing, comics, video games, etc.), professionals, including
creative and technical staff, scientists with an entrepreneurial vocation, as well as young university students and people interested in this field.

Program

The Conference, which will take place in morning and afternoon sessions, will begin on Tuesday, May 26 with a presentation at 9:30 a.m. by Mª José Bayo, president of the AVA Foundation and member of the Board of Directors of RTVA, and May Silva, director of the AVA Foundation.

The inaugural conference will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Digital Content Industry: Present and Future by Roger Casas Alatriste, owner of El Cañonazo Transmedia and founding partner of Prodiges.

The Round Table will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Strategic alliances in the digital content industry which will feature Fernando Rodríguez del Estal, president of the Cluster Association of Information Technology, Communications and Digital Content Entrepreneurs of Andalusia (ETICOM); Carlos Biern, president of the Spanish Federation of Animation Production Companies Associations (DIBOOS); Ignacio Pérez Dolset, CEO and founder of U-Tad, Ilion Animation Studios, PyroStudios and co-founder of Zed, president of the Spanish Association of Production Companies and Developers of Video Games and Entertainment Software (DEV); and José Carlos Conde, president of the Digital and Audiovisual Cluster of Andalusia (CLAND).

The morning ends with a Round Table dedicated to The role of Media in the Digital Industry (1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.), in which José Manuel González Pacheco, general director of AtresmediaDigital, will participate; Alejandro Vega, director of RTVE Digital; Ignacio Fernández-Vega Feijóo, director at Movistar TV at Telefónica Spain; and Antonio Manfredi, director of Interactives at RTVA.

In the afternoon the day ends with the Round Table The transversality of digital content: Education, Health and Tourism (5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.) whose speakers are: Carlos Flores González, director of the Grupo Planeta Education Area; Luis Rey Goñi, director of the San Francisco de Paula School; Luis Fernández Luque, Partner and Advisor at Salumedia; José Luis Córdoba, director at Andalucía Lab; and Manuel Jiménez, director Yolaperdono.

The interventions will be facilitated by Joaquín López Lérida, Technology and Digital Business partner at Be Lean Up.

On Wednesday, May 27, the Conference continues with the Round Table The new MultiChannel Networks (10:00-12:00 hours) with Francisco Asensi, director at EndemolBeyond Spain; Silvia Velasco, general director of MAKER in Spain; Emilio Sánchez Zaballos, Atrestube; Garbiñe Abasolo, founder of Thinketers; and Mario Rigote, Business Development Manager at Rightster.

The Round Table Digital Occupations, the most in demand (12:30-14:30 horas) ponen fin al evento con las intervenciones de Conrado Castillo, General Manager en Rooter; Fran Gálvez, CCO en UnusualStudios y miembro de DEV; Ángel Osuna, CEO en Prodigia; Juan Miguel Pulpillo, CEO Pulpillo&Counselors y vicepresidente – COO de Grupo Agencia Escrow; y Molly Sears-Piccavey, Girls in Tech Spain.

The interventions will be facilitated by Francisco Cuadrado, professor at the Loyola Andalusia University and professional in the audiovisual creation sector.
