'Land Rober Tunai Show' (TVG) creates a club in the metaverse
Galicia Television continues with its commitment to innovation and, for the first time in Spain, a television program ('Land Rober Tunai Show') creates a club in the metaverse in which the audience can participate live.
Coinciding with the broadcast of the 300 program last Thursday, viewers were able to access a QR code that appeared on the screen to, by filling out a small form, become members of this pioneering club that takes them directly to the metaverse of the Country Rober, with which merge the virtual world with the real one in just one click.
In the parallel universe, fans of the program can interact with the virtual version of Roberto Vilar, Eva Iglesias, Miguel Canalejo and other well-known faces from TVG's primetime slot. There, they can access exclusive content, earn gifts, and connect with other fans of the show to share impressions of their favorite content.
In this way, Televisión de Galicia is once again a pioneer in the use of new technologies and takes another step towards the future by creating a different and modern space with room for all kinds of surprises.
Already in 2017, CRTVG launched the first major experience in Spain of the call slow television or, in its Galician version, television amodiño with the project Destination Santiago. With it, public media broadcast more than twelve hours of daily, uninterrupted streaming programming, covering different stages of the French Camino de Santiago.
Two years later, in 2019, TVG went ahead again with the premiere of A country in 360, a program that incorporated the stereoscopy and 360º in a multi-platform and pioneering concept in Spain. The space offered pieces to be seen in 360° combined with stereoscopy on TVG's YouTube channel through 3D glasses, and 360° in the DTT broadcast.
And again, in May 2021, TVG became the first regional network, and one of the first general television networks in Spain, in broadcast your signal through YouTube 24 hours a day and every day of the week live.
