RTVE launches 'Hiperia', a format created with artificial intelligence

Radio3 Extra (RTVE) adds to its lineup 'Hiperia', a hybrid format with a radio soul whose content and staging have been created with artificial intelligence tools.

Hyperia, which will have a new chapter every week through Radio 3 Extra, to the app of Radio 3 y RTVE, seeks to explore the possibilities of new narratives and formats to find the limits (and possibilities) of artificial intelligence. Aimed at young audiences, as well as the most curious technologists, this particular artificial intelligence will be in charge of talking about music and “everything that surrounds young popular culture.”

RTVE's latest initiative, a collaboration between areas such as Radio 3, Technological Strategy, Digital Innovation or Graphics, brings together human efforts from all these areas along with some of the most advanced artificial intelligence tools. The avatar image has been created with Stable Diffusion of Stability AI y D-ID, his voice has been artificially synthesized with AI tools and the content of the program, which premieres on February 27, are words created by ChatGPT of Open AI.

RTVE, Beyond offering young content exploring the possibilities of artificial intelligence, it seeks to establish an “active conversation” about the effective use of technologies in the production of content, as well as seeking to support Spanish companies and promote the use of Spanish in new AI technologies.
