TVE's news programs implement artificial intelligence with Etiqmedia and Aicox

RTVE has focused on the automatic segmentation of its news programs into scenes, the automatic generation of metadata, and the extraction of text from audio.

The emergence of technologies Artificial intelligence (IA) is assuming a more than relevant fact in the sector. Many companies are applying its use in different contexts to understand its use, understand its limitations and determine the viability of its use in their operating processes.

In this line, RTVE has put the focus on automatic segmentation of their news programs in scenes, in the automatically generating metadata from the content, and in the extraction of the text from the audio of the program.

The project involves a first phase of testing to test and apply the system to the Newscasts and that allows improving the user experience.

RTVE has selected Aicox Solutions to carry out this project with the systems of the Spanish company Etiqmedia in Artificial Intelligence and Qligent in Quality Control.
