Valladolid and Granada will host the 2024 and 2025 Goya Awards galas
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has confirmed that Valladolid will host the gala of the Goya Awards 2024, an event still without dates that will mark the premiere of the awards in Castilla y León. In 2025, the Goyas will visit Granada.
Widely linked to cinema through Seminci, which since 1956 has been praising the best works of Spanish cinema through the Golden Spikes, the Goya 2024 will land in Valladolid with an extensive program of activities that will help the city focus on the most important annual event of the Film Academy. During the coming months, new details of the upcoming Goya Awards 2024, including dates and venue. Likewise, it has been confirmed that Granada will host the Goya 2025.
Los Goya Awards debut in Castilla y León after being held in recent years in Seville (2023, 2019), Valencia (2022) and Málaga (2021, 2020), thus confirming the decision to leave Madrid to help promote Spanish cinema in other capitals.
